Blocking or deleting a member, or resetting their password
Open the member’s file and go to the Role & rights tab.
Blocking
Click Block to temporarily deny a member access — they can then no longer log in, book or perform other actions, but their data is retained. Click Unblock to undo this.
Resetting a password
This action isn’t on the member’s file itself, but next to the member in the member list (button Reset password, only visible without the Advanced member management module). This sends the member an email with a reset link, so they can set a new password themselves.
Cancelling a member’s booking
On the Bookings tab you can cancel a booking of this member, stating a reason.
Deleting
On the Role & rights tab, scroll to the Danger zone and click Delete member. This permanently deletes the member, including documents, membership history, ranking scores, event registrations, federation links and marketplace listings.
To confirm, you must type the member’s exact email address in the dialog — the Permanently delete button stays disabled until it matches. This prevents you from accidentally deleting the wrong member.
Deleting cannot be undone. Use blocking for a temporary measure and deleting only once the member has permanently left the club.
Is this member the club’s only administrator? Then the system refuses the deletion with the message “There must always be one admin — remove another admin first or make another member an administrator.” First make another member an administrator — see Assigning administrators.
Every deletion is logged in the activity log.
