Audit & inspection
Ready for an inspection, without the searching
During an inspection you must be able to present your registers on request. Show them on screen, hand over a PDF report, or, if you wish, create a temporary access code: the inspector can view everything and change nothing. You decide.
Three ways to make an inspection go smoothly
Pick the method that fits your situation, or combine them.
Login for the inspector
Create a temporary access code (validity in hours). The inspector logs in via /auditor and can view every register, but not change anything. No account of their own needed.
PDF reports to hand over
Download the Stock, Intake, Issue or Movements report per register and hand it over or send it on. Useful when the inspector wants to take a document with them.
Immutable audit trail
The audit trail shows that nothing was quietly changed afterwards. Every change and deletion is logged immutably: who, when, what, why, and the data before and after.
Preparing for a firearms inspection
Six steps that keep your inspection running smoothly.
Are all intakes and issues up to date? Are all fields filled in correctly? AmmoSuite always shows your current stock.
Download the Stock report for each register. This is the document inspectors usually want to see.
Is your gunpowder storage within the limit set by your licence? AmmoSuite shows this visually on the dashboard.
Preferably do this shortly before the inspection. Set the validity to the expected duration of the inspection plus a buffer.
Log in via /auditor with the code to confirm it works and shows the right registers.
Mark the access code as expired, or wait until it runs out. After that the code no longer works.
