Taking firearms into safekeeping and returning them

Open the Safekeeping register from the dashboard. Click + New entry and fill it in directly in the table:

Date inDate of intake (when the firearm enters safekeeping)
OriginWhere the firearm comes from
NatureNature of the safekeeping (e.g. repair, transit)
BrandBrand of the firearm

While the register is empty, you can load an existing safekeeping register in one go with Importing an existing register (beta, on request). After that you enter safekeeping entries directly in the table.

Returning

Fill in Date out as soon as the firearm is collected or returned. Click Save, or collect changes and confirm with Save all. If a row has unsaved changes, the Cancel button appears next to Save (instead of Delete). It resets only that row to the saved version; your changes in other rows stay.

AmmoSuite asks for a reason (“Reason for this change?”) when you overwrite or clear a value that was already saved, and when you delete a row. Filling in an empty field doesn’t require a reason. The reason is recorded in the audit trail.

With Order in the filter bar you choose Oldest first or Newest first. Your choice is remembered per register in your browser.
